You keep the full ticket price you set. A 5% service fee is added to the buyer’s total at checkout and removed before settlement, and Paystack’s processing fee comes out of your payout — so the money that lands in your account is the ticket price minus payment processing.

How much does it cost to sell tickets online?
Buyers pay a service fee — 5% by default — on top of the ticket price, so you keep the full ticket price. There is no monthly subscription and no setup fee. The fee for your workspace is always shown on your payout settings.
Do I need a Paystack account to sell tickets?
No. You enter your own bank details once and EventicketsNG creates the Paystack subaccount for you. Money settles directly to your bank after each sale; you never sign up for or log in to a payment dashboard.
How do attendees receive their tickets?
Instantly, by email — plus a private wallet link that reopens the QR code at any time. Nothing needs to be printed, and a lost email can be recovered from the same link.
Do attendees have to upload a photo?
Yes. Each ticket is issued to a named attendee with a clear photo, and gate staff compare the photo to the person presenting the ticket. Photos are stored privately and never shown publicly.
Can I scan tickets at the gate with my phone?
Yes. The gate scanner runs in the browser on any modern phone, using the camera. It records entry, exit and re-entry, warns when a ticket is already inside, and keeps an audit trail of every correction.
Can I add staff and sales agents?
Invite them by email with the roles they need — gate official, gate supervisor, event manager, sales agent or lead agent. They choose their own password, and every action they take is attributed to them.
Can I sell free tickets?
Yes. Free tickets follow the same flow — attendee names, photos and QR codes — without a payment step. They are useful for guest lists and invited press.
Can I use EventicketsNG outside Nigeria?
EventicketsNG is built for Nigeria: prices in naira, Paystack payments to Nigerian bank accounts, and timezone-aware event pages. Organizers everywhere can publish, but payouts are Nigeria-first.
